Vishal Shah is a commercially focused healthcare leader with extensive experience across the Australia, New Zealand, and broader APAC pharmaceutical and hospital markets. He specialises in market entry strategy, portfolio commercialisation, government and hospital tender management, and strategic partnership development within highly regulated environments.
Vishal has held both commercial and operational roles with organisations including Baxter International Inc. and HPS Pharmacies. At Baxter, he led compounding operations, managing a large multidisciplinary team responsible for production, quality assurance, and timely delivery of injectables and specialised hospital products. He drove operational excellence initiatives, ensured compliance with TGA and internal quality standards, and held full P&L responsibility for his business unit, aligning performance with strategic commercial objectives.
He has driven growth across branded and generic portfolios, working with international manufacturers to deliver scalable and commercially viable operations across ANZ and the broader APAC region. His expertise spans tender submissions, pricing strategy, supplier evaluation, regulatory-commercial alignment (including TGA requirements), and long-term channel development.
Known for his structured, transparent, and results-driven approach, Vishal combines commercial discipline with strong stakeholder engagement. He partners closely with manufacturers, regulatory advisors, wholesalers, and healthcare institutions to deliver sustainable market access and growth. Vishal holds tertiary qualifications in business and healthcare-related disciplines and remains actively engaged in ANZ and APAC healthcare industry developments through his professional network.
David Gulland is the Chief Operating Officer of AlgoraeRx, the commercialisation subsidiary of Algorae Pharmaceuticals (ASX: 1AI), where he is responsible for leading the company’s operational and commercial scale-up across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, he oversees supply partnerships, regulatory sponsorship, distribution strategy and the execution of Algorae’s pharmaceutical commercialisation initiatives alongside its AI-enabled drug discovery platform.
David brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the pharmaceutical, healthcare funding and pharmacy services sectors. Prior to joining Algorae, he served as General Manager of HPS Pharmacies, a national hospital pharmacy services business within EBOS Group, one of Australasia’s largest pharmaceutical wholesalers and healthcare distributors.
David holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Western Australia, as well as a Diploma in Business Management. His experience across pharmacy operations, healthcare funding and pharmaceutical commercialisation positions him to drive AlgoraeRx’s growth strategy and expand access to medicines across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Waleed is an accomplished pharmaceutical and healthcare sales leader with more than 20 years’ experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare services, with deep expertise in hospital markets, national account management and commercial execution across Australia and New Zealand.
